- When airplane moves fast in air, due to its design, the velocity of wind is more at upper region of wings as compared to velocity of wind at lower region of wings.
- The difference in velocities at top and bottom regions causes some pressure difference between lower and upper places of the wings.
- As the pressure at lower region of wings is larger than upper region, upthrust force (buoyant) or buoyant force acts on the wing in upward direction.
- The upthrust force acting on the wings of the air plane experience an upwards force so that the airplane flies up.
