how is right to freedom of religion (article 25-28) a guarantee of secularism by the Indian constitution

Secularism means equal respect for all religions and non-interference by the state in the private religious matters of citizens. Freedom of religion in the Indian Constitution guarantees secularism because under that freedom, citizens can practice whatever religion they like. The state cannot discriminate between citizens on the basis of religion. Hence, that freedom guarantees secularism.
