Democracy is the form of govt in which each citizen is provided with some rights which help him to live a comfortable, satiable and harmonius life. Each citizen is treated equally and enjoys equal rights as all the other citizens enjoy irrespective of the caste, creed or gender he belongs to. Each citizen has the right to put his demands to the government and also to criticise the govt if something has gone wrong. Each citizen has equal vote and hence equal share in electing the government. Thus, the dignity of each and every citizen is maintained. Hence we can say that democracy leads to peaceful and harmonius life among citizens.

Democracy is built on the very pillar of fairness which gives it clear advantage over alternative forms of government. In democracy, every citizen has a fair chance to come to power. Every individual has one vote and every vote has equal value. The say of a slum dweller in deciding the political future of the country is the same as that of a millionaire industrialist. Free and fair elections are held from time to time under the supervision of an independent body. A true democracy is a platform of healthy competition, not subjected to muscle might or power play,

) Democracies accommodate various social divisions. For example, Belgium has peacefully solved her ethnic problems and solved the differences. (ii) All democracies usually develop a procedure to conduct competition, i.e. conduct elections, power-sharing, etc. This reduces the possibility of tensions, due to social divisions, turning violent or explosive. (iii) Democracy teaches people to respect the differences and resolve conflicts among different groups peacefully. In non-democratic countries, rulers either turn a blind eye to or suppress internal differences. For example, Sri Lanka. The plus point in democratic regime is the ability to handle social differences, divisions and conflicts. (iv) A democracy is not just a rule by majority opinion. The majority always needs to work with the minority so that the government represents the general view. (v) A democratic government ensures that the rule by the majority does not become autocratic in terms of religion, race or linguistic group etc. It tries that in case of every election, different persons and groups can form a majority. It tries to see that every citizen has a chance to be in majority at some point of time and is not barred on the basis of birth. All these things ensured by a democratic regime lead to a peaceful and harmonious life.

(this answer is for class 10 cbse students) It would be a fair expectation that democracy would provide a harmonious life for citizens in the following ways: ->It promotes equality among citizens. Thus by eradicating discrimination among them. Ex. Right to Equality in India had promoted people to enjoy equal rights under constitution and if discrimination is practised there would be a severe punishment. ->It enhances the dignity of the individual . no one is considered above or below the law. ->Improves quality of decision making. Such that people could get benefited and enjoying qualified laws. ->provides a method to resolve conflicts among people. This ensures that all the problems faced by people and conflicts between them would be resolved. ->Allows a room to correct mistakes.

@Cool.taha The most simplest answer thank you 😊

Oh!!!! Too simple,

First, it helps us too have the government of the majority ones.

Second, it allows us to share our views to anyone and at any level(in states, districts, towns, village,or full country ) of the country.

Third, the people have many rights the most important they have fundamental rights that no body can take from them.

Fourth, they have equal opportunity as others.

Fifth, there is no caste.

Sixth , everyone is equal means in democratic country there is nothing like a royal family or worker family or a shudra family and other and it somehow anyone follows this he will be punished by the government of the bearer of the problem complains.

Seventh, the most important a democratic country always has a written constitution making everyone equal in the country before the law.
Thank you

Democracy reduces the chances of differences or conflicts becoming violent.
Democracy ensures inclusion of every group including minorities and its interests in the decision making.
Non-democratic regimes usually just ignore the internal problems or suppress it.
Democracy provides the opportunity to negotiate the differences and decide on what is better for everyone.

So the life of citizens is peaceful and harmonious.
