How can we say that jahangir continued the policy of tolerance initiated by Akbar

Jahangir followed the religious tolerance policy of Akbar by giving equal facilities to all his subjects irrespective of their religion. He came in contact with people of all faiths which liberalised his views. Hindus were not burdened with additinadd taxes and recieved services in the state as per their merit. He maintained a good relationship with the Rajputs too and followed the principle of sulh-i-kul established by Akbar. Sources mention that he installed a chain of justice outside his palace where whoever had a complaint against an official could ring the bell and speak to the emperor directly.
