how can show that particles matter have spaces between them?

When we add some suar in water and stir it, the sugar disappears but the level of water do not change. This iis because, the sugar particles occupy the space between the particles of matter of water. This shows that particles of matter have space between them.

1. Take a 100ML beaker and fill half the beaker with water.

2.Mark the level of the water.

3. Dissolve sugar/salt in the water and again mark the level of the water.

We will observe that the salt dissolves in the water and there is no change in the water level because the particles of salt get into the spaces between the particles of water.

Matter attack each other when in contact. They decrease in distance increase this force attractions between them.

when we disolve salt in water the particsls of matter have spave datween them

We can perform an activity.  First we take a glass with some water. We add sugar/salt to it and stir it.  We observe that the level of water does not rise.  This shows that particles of matter have space between them.

Even after dissolving 50g of salt in 100 ml of water ,there is no rise in volume. This shows that particles of salt get into the particles of water and shows that particles ofatter have spaces between them

When we solute(suger) in solvent(Water) then it mixed and we doesn't get separate of water and suger because suger is take place between the particles of matter. And you also get another examples like lemon juice...

First we will take 100ml of water in a beaker and mark the water level. Now mix sugar or salt in the water. We observe that after mixing sugar or salt the water level doesn't increase as the particles of salt or sugar get in between the particles of water. Hence proved.

Open tap and cut the water you easily cut them then cut air you also cut air by moving your hand but you do the same activity in solid you cannot pass your hand through it becous in liquid the particles have little intermolecular space in air they have more intermolecular space but in solid they are no intermolecular space so you cannot pass your hand throgh it becouse the particles of solid is tightly packed.

Take some water in a beaker .
Add some sugar in it
U will observe that the sugar will completely dissolved and the level of water is also not increased.
Hence , we can say that the particles of matter have spaces btwn them.

If u have it and pour a oil and stir the tiny particles move in water and not increases the water level after that we take a dropper and get all oil drops and throw out and mix sugar in it and keep in defreeze after 1 or 4 hour u see that the tiny particles are having space between them

Objective: to show that particles have spaces between them Experiment: step-1 take a beaker filled with 100ml clear water mark the height point of the water. Step-2 take some salt and add it into the water and again mark the it's height. Observation: the height of the water after and before adding salt is same. It shows that the particles of salt takes the places and dissolve in the space given. Conclusion: hence particles have spaces between them.

Put hand in water and then try in solid this shws that water have space between them
