Answer is b) Guttation occurs in mesophytes. Some mesophytes of rainy regions excrete extra water through hydathode by the process of guttation because the soil remains moist and environment is also moist where transpirational pull does not occur, so with the help of root pressure water oozes out from hydathode (opening with guard cells).
