Groups that share a common interest on one issue are likely to be in different sides on a different issue. Explain
Dear Student,
a. This statement basically explain cross cutting differences that may exist in a society.
b. If social difference cross-cut each other we would find it difficult to find which group is against the other. These groups may have similar views on some issues and different on other issues.
c. For instance in Netherlands: The main religion here is Christianity. They have division as catholics and protestants. Here class and religion cross-cut each other. Neither of them are rich or poor and do not have conflict between them. However they may differ on other issues.
d. Thus, a group may hold similar views on a particular issue but differ on some.
