Give one example to show that heat is a form of energy

Solution:

Heat is the type of energy that is emitted from a source. It flows from a hotter body to colder body and this transfer is by thermal interactions. Example: When we place a cup of hot tea in a room it becomes cold. This happens because the heat from tea is transferred to the surrounding which is cooler than tea. The reverse happens when we place a glass of cold water which becomes warm in summers because the surrounding is warmer than the glass of water and so the glass of water absorbs heat to become warm.
