From a circular card sheet of radius 14 cm, 2 circles of radius 3.5 cm and a rectangle of length 3 cm and breadth 1 cm are removed. Find the area of the remaining sheet ( TAKE pie = 22/7)

Radius (circular card sheet)= 14cm
Area of the circular card sheet= pi*r*r or pi*r2
                                                 =22/7*14*14
                                                 =616cm2

Radius (cut circles)= 3.5cm
Area of the circles=pi*r*r or pi*r2
                              =22/7*3.5*3.5
                              =38.52
Therefore, Area of two circles=38.5*2   (Since, there are two circles we multiply the area with 2)
                                                 =77cm2
Length (cut rectangle)= 3cm
Breadth (cut rectangle)=1cm
Area= length*breadth
          =3*1
           =3cm2

...Total remaining area= Area (circular caard sheet) - Area (cut circles) + Area (cut rectangle)
                                     =616 - 77 + 3
                                      =616 -80
                                       =536cm2
