Find the equivalent resistance between A and B in given figure

Find the equivalent resistance between A and B in given figure 60

Dear Student,
Here in th extreme left the two 3 ohm resistors are in series so their equivalent resistance is = 6 ohm , which is in parallel with another 6 ohm resistor .
So their equivalent is = R1 = (6x6) / 12 = 3 ohm .
R1 is again in series with 3 ohm resistor and their equivalent is in parallel with the second 6 ohm resistor from the left .
So the equivalent resistance is , R2 = (6x6) / 12 = 3 ohm .
R2 is again in series with 3 ohm resistor and their equivalent is in parallel with the third 6 ohm resistor from the left .
So the equivalent resistance is , R3 = (6x6) / 12 = 3 ohm .
This R3 is in series with 3 ohm resistor in th extreme right and then their equivalent is in parallel with the 3 ohm resistor between A and B points.
So the equivalent resistance is , RAB =  (6x3) / 9 = 2 ohm .

Hope this helps you.
