​Orthotropous ovules are the ovules that grow straight so that micropyle is at the end opposite the stalk. For example,  Piper, Polygonum, Cycas. 
Anatropous ovules are the ovules that are completely inverted on its stalk. For example, Helianthus and Tridax.
