Our best bet is then to watch our thoughts, be hopeful and positive and do what we can. Set your ego aside. We can't let fear dominate the discussion. More power and control are not the answer. Blame putting will get us nowhere.
These capabilities and potentialities can only be realized if our minds and hearts are open. Everyone should step forward with a total openness of mind and heart. This openness is essential for all of us to break from the old stuck ways that no longer work. Once liberated, together we can create new more expansive forms of expression.
But with closed minds, change may never come. With closed minds, we can never appreciate the side of a friend. With closed minds, we can not truly share in the thoughts of others. It is only when we open our minds that we can create a true community with each other. We can open our minds to new ideas and concepts. We can grow in faith. We can gain much needed knowledge of the world and people around us. With open minds, we can work together and make the world a better place.

Without love and compassion we are a heartless mass bent on survival even if it means destroying everything in the way including the future.
