Do you think that the 'fenced gate' has a metaphor attached to it. Chapter Lost spring

Dear Student,

Once we think critically we realise that "fenced gate" is a metaphor indeed. Saheb was standing by the fence of a club. The fenced gate is a metaphor for the division of the labour class from the upper class. The fenced gate is a metaphor for the disparities of socio-economic classes and their standards of living.
