Do both liver and spleen produce red blood cells?

When the foetus is developing, the spleen produces red blood cells in the foetus, but after the fifth month of gestation(pregnancy), it stops. Later in embryonic life, that is after the fifth month, the liver produces the red blood cells mainly.
