Differentiate between surface and trade winds

Solution:-
The trade winds are air currents closer to the Earth's surface that blow from northeast in the northern hemisphere and southeast in the southern hemisphere. The trade winds are known to have been used by sailors for trade for centuries. Sailors traveling from Africa or Europe used the trade winds to travel to North or South America.

Therefore there is no difference between trade winds and surface winds.
