differences between nervous control and chemical control

Nervous control is brought about by the nervous system in the body and is the flow of an electrical impulse through the network of neurons.

Chemical coordination is the endocrine or hormonal control and is brough about by release of hormones into the blood where it reaches the target site.

While nervous control or impulses are usually reaction to external environment, chemical control is for both internal or external environment.

Nervous control or impulse is normally short lived whereas chemical control may be short or long lived.
