difference between health and disease

Dear Student!

Health has been defined by the WHO as 'a state of complete physical, mental and social. well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity'.

Disease can defined as the 'bodily disorder', or a 'disordered state of an organ or organism'.

The basic difference between health and disease is that health is the parameter of wellness while disease is the cause of being unwell.
