Difference between ex-ante and ex-post on the basis of meaning with examples

(it is assumed that differentiate between ex-ante and ex-post are done in reference to investment)

Basis	Ex-Ante	Ex-Post
Meaning	The word Ex- Ante Means Before the events . This investment means the investment which are planned or desired to do in the economy over a particular period of time	The word ex- post means after the event. this investment refers to the actual level of an investment in the economy at a particular period of time.
example	Return on Portfolio investment	Dividend on debentures
Name	It is also known as Planned Investment	it is also known as Actual Investment
National Income	This is not considered while calculating national income	this is considered while calculating national income.
