Diamante  poem on mother

Dear student

This question is to be answered on the basis of your own understanding, experience and thoughts. It is strongly recommended that you prepare the solution on your own. However, some pointers for discussion have been provided for your reference:

Diamante is basically a poem that consists of just seven lines, that too in such a format that it forms a diamond shape. For eg-

Here are some examples of poems on mother that you could turn into diamante on your own-

1) A mother is more than just a woman,
A mother is more than just a wife,
A mother has brought to this world a new born,
A mother has brought to this world life.

A mother is one with love and honour,
A mother comforts you day and night,
A mother; a new one every hour,
A mother teaches wrong from right.

A mother knows when you are worried,
A mother knows when you are joyed,
A mother knows when you are sorry,
A mother knows just what's inside.

A mother needs your love forever,
A mother needs to see your smile,
There's no better gift for mama,
Than her very awesome little child.

2) She taught me how to tie my shoe laces,
And to brush around my braces!
She taught me how to colour within the lines,
And read all the traffic signs,
She taught me good from bad,
And how I must avoid getting ma,
My teacher, my friend and guide,
My mother : there to soothe me whenever I cried!

Hope this helps!
Regards
