Define these terms 1 double circulation 2 hypertension

Dear student,1)Two types of blood circulation run simultaneously in the body—pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation. These are together named as double circulation. Pulmonary circulation: The circulation of blood between heart and lungs. It is through this circulation that the deoxygenated blood or carbon dioxide rich blood from the heart is carried to the lungs, where it removes CO2 and receives oxygen. The oxygenated blood from lungs is the carried back to the heart. Systemic circulation: This involves the circulation of blood between the heart and the body. The oxygenated blood from the heart is carried to all body parts and the deoxygenated blood from the body parts is carried back to the heart. From here pulmonary circulation comes into action.2)Hypertension also known as high blood pressure is a long-term medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated.Regards
