Define the three terms of cardiac cycle (1) ventricular systole (2) ventricular diastole (3)articular systole

Dear student,1= Atrial systole is the contraction of left and right atria causing forcing of blood to ventricles. It takes 0.1 seconds. 2=Ventricular systole is the ejection of 80-100cm3 of blood from the ventricles introduced by a brief period of contraction. It lasts for about 0.3 to 0.4 seconds. 3=Ventricular diastole is the relaxation of ventricles that occurs due to the tissue. The tissue of heart results in contraction and relation due to their electrical activity. The contraction of the tissue of atria increases blood pressure that results in the opening of bicuspid and tricusid valves and blood rushes insdie the ventricles causing their relaxation (diastole) Hope this information helps,Regards.
