Please help me with the below question ??
A field is 102m long and 25 m broad. A tank 10 m long, 5 m broad and 4 m deep is dug out from the middle of the field and the earth removed is evenly spread over the remaining part of the field. Find the rise in the level of the remaining part of the field in cm .

Solution:Volume of earth dug out=Volume of tank=lbh=10×5×4=200m3Area of the field where the earth will be evenly distributed(A)=102×25-10×5=2500m2Let the rise be h'Volume of the earth dug out= Volume of earth rise after dug200=A×h'h'=2002500m=0.08m=8 cm
