damages caused by the road acidents due to high speed vehicles arenvery much worse than the accidents at low speed

Because when vehicles are at high speed they posses larger momentum due to high velocity.

Momentum = mass x velocity.

So during the accident change in momentum is very large. And the vehicles exert larger force on one

another causes more damage than at low speed.

momentum= mass * velocity.

Therefore, if the velocity is high the momentum will also be high and will therefore cause more damage
