We follow these steps to construct quadrilateral ABCD  :

Step 1 :  Draw a line AB  =   7  cm

Step 2 :  Take radius of 7 cm and center " A " draw an arc .  and with radius 4 cm and center " B "  draw an arc that cut the previous arc at C  .

Step 3 : Take radius of 7.5 cm and center " B " draw an arc .  and with radius 6 cm and center " A "  draw an arc that cut the previous arc at D.

Step 4 :  Join AD  , BC and CD  , we get our required quadrilateral ABCD  .
