Consider a circle centred at (2,3) and (8,11 )be a point on it.write coordinates of four points on it

Dear Student,

Radius of circle= Distance between centre and point on a circle=x2-x12+y2-y12=8-22+11-32=62+ 82=36+64=100=10 unitsLet the point on a circle be x,yThen,x-22+y-32 = 10Squaring on both sides, we getx-22+y-32=100When x=22-22 + y-32=100y-32=100y-3=±10y=10+3   and y=-10+3y=13   and   y=-7Two points on circle are2,13 , 2,-7When y=3x-22+3-32=100x-22=100x-2=±10x=10+2    and x=-10+2x=12   and x=-8Other two points are 12,3 and  -8,3 .
