Character sketch of The twins in the novel the canterville ghost .

The twins were great company for each other. They were addressed as 'Star and Stripes'. They were not at all scared of the ghost, instead they played many tricks on him. They stretched strings across the corridor over which the ghost tripped and made a butter slide to make him slip. He wore an elaborate costume to frighten them, but a jug of water fell on him when he opened their room's door. they were a good team and laughed out loud at the ghost's antics, exasperating him on several occasions.
