Character sketch of grandmother?

The grandmother is very old and wears a white saree. She has a stooping physique. She was not beautiful in the literal sense but her calmness made her beautiful. When she lived in the village she had a fixed routine. She used to wake up early, bathe the author, recite morning prayers, had breakfast and left fo the temple. She was happy and sound in the village.
When she moved to the city, her behavior changed. She did not like the confinement in one house. She was terrified of the Western education and annoyed by the fact that music was taught in school. She believed that music was unsuitable for the gentlefolk.
She did not complain about her loneliness rather she restricted herself to her room. She used to spin the wheel and recite her prayers. She did not talk much and fed the sparrows during her past-time. When the author left abroad for studies she did not get emotional. She blessed him and continued praying.
When she fell ill, she refused to talk to anyone. She believed that her end was near. Despite protests by her family, she did not speak. She left the world peacefully.
