Can you give 2 differences between carbon phosphorous cycle?

1) Phosphorus does not form compound in gaseous state, so no gaseous forms are involved in phosphorus cycle. In carbon cycle gaseous forms of carbon are involved.
2)In phosphorus cycle atmosphere does not play any major role in the movement of phosphorus as it is found in solid forms whereas in carbon cycle atmosphere has a very important role as carbon moves in gaseous forms also.

The main carbon reservoir for terrestrial organisms is the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide gas. Phosphorus in terrestrial environments is cycled between living things and the soil -- it does not cycle through a gaseous form in the biosphere.
