Sub:- The lack of trains and buses leading to overcrowding.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to show my concern about the overcrowded public transport through the esteemed columns of your newspaper. India is an ever growing country with ever growing cities, and these cities like Delhi also need an ever growing transport system to match the demand. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The transport system is facing trouble in keeping up and is dreadfully lagging behind. This is resulting in extreme overcrowding in these means of transport. As large number of people choose public transport to escape the morning traffic, there is increasing traffic in trains and buses. As if footboarding in buses wasn't dangerous enough, people are now hanging on trains. This is claiming many lives.

This calls for urgent response from the respective departments to regulate strict rules to limit the number of passengers and increase the amount of trains and buses. I hope I am able to draw the attention of the concerned authorities and will get a good response.

Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Shivani.
