The Option 2,3,4 does not undergoes SN - oriented mechanism, in addition it is first attacked by halogen compound chlorine which is highly reactive with sterochemicals results in change of configuration.
While in Option (1) the configuration is first attacked by Na, favours the base condition which are further attacked by an electrophile of halogen compound Bromine hence no change in configuration found.
Ans: Option (1) retains molecular configuration.
