Are literary devices and figure of speech and poetic devices the same thing .if not what are the differences?

Dear student,

Poetic devices include rhyme, rhythm, meter, alliteration, etc used in a poem.
Figures of speech uses language in a way which is beyond its literal interpretation. For example: simile, metaphor, etc.
Literary devices include both figures of speech and poetic devices.

For the sake of answering in your question paper, these three terms are loosely used interchangeably.
