Electioneering is costly in every democratic country. India being the largest democratic country the candidates need to spend a lot of money for transport,publicity and items of campaign. Initially it was costlier when the ideals of service and sacrifice were very much on the air.But scenario has changed. The expense have increased tremendously. The gap between the expense incurred and the legally permitted have increased

no whatever it cost is not that much big. you must read NCERT there in it is fiven that around 1300 croresare used in election but same in buying some heavy fire power

No,elections are expensive...but it is more important to hold elections than to buy a tank which is evev more costly. Election is the only thing which shows that our country is democratic one.So, according to my opinion,it shouldn't matter that electiobs are expensive or not.

We can say both that elections are expensive and not also..... bcuz in doing the campaigns the voters spent money....
