Q. somu , monu and nonu are the 3 kids somu weights 2 1/3 kg more than nonu and monu weights 3 2/5 kg more than nonu . if their total weight is 65 11/15 kg . how much does each child weight ?

Let , nonu's weight be x kg.

Somu's weight = x + 2 1/3 = x+ 7/3 = (3x + 7)/3 kg.

Monu's weigt = x + 3 2/5 = x + 17/5 = (5x + 17)/5 kg.

As per question - 

x + (3x + 7)/3+(5x + 17)/5 = 65 11/15

=>(15x + 15x + 35 + 15x + 51)/15 = 986/15

=>45x = 986 - 86

=>x = 900/45 = 20

Nonu's weight = 20 kg.

Monu's weight = (5x + 17)/5  = (5 * 20 + 17)/5  = 117/5 = 23 2/5 kg.

Somu's weight = (3x + 7)/3 =(3 * 20 + 7)/3 = 67/3 = 22 1/3 kg.
