Answer the following

Q7. There is a matrix that follows a certain rule now, wise or column wise. Find the missing number.

 7  9  11
 81  169  ?
 2   4  6

            A. 212
            B. 241
            C. 144
            D. 289

Dear student,

Here we are able to see that,

81 = (7 + 2)2

Same way, 169 = (9 + 4)2

So pattern :-

Every no in the middle row is  the square of sum of its upper and lower number.

Therefore,

? = (11 + 6)2 = 172 = 289

So, the answer is at D.

hope this helps.

thumbs up plzz.

In the grid first we calculate the some of 7 and 2 ie. 12 and then take its square. 7*2=9               9*9=81
thus,
(9+4)2
= 169
now, same ways,
(6+11)2
= 289
the answer is D.
