Dear student, He was the control of the northern Indian Ghurid territories, and after the death of Mu'izz ad-Din, he became the ruler of an independent kingdom which evolved into the Mamluk dynasty-ruled Delhi Sultanate. A Turkestan native, Aibak was sold as an infant to slavery. He was bought at Nishapur in Persia by a Qazi, where among other abilities he practiced archery and horse-riding. He was later resold in Ghazni to Muizz ad-Din, where Aibak rose to the royal stables officer's position. Regards..
