a visit to cambridge-short character sketch of stephen hawkings

Dear student,

Stephen Hawking told the narrator that he had not been brave; he just had no other choice but to bear his condition. But, the author knew this was not true as, despite his severe disability, Hawking had chosen to pursue creative faculties. His eyes were still alive and alert. In spite of the limp, useless body, the inner glow of this great man was clearly visible. Stephen hawking was a positive and optimistic person: despite his disability he had been able to understand the importance of kindness and compassion. He was a true role model, not only for the disabled but also for all mankind: he had reached the zenith of his career in spite of being confined to a wheelchair. He was also witty and apprecaited life to the fullest.
