Given that: ABCD is a metallic sheet with dimension 56cm×48cm
 now, when squares of side 6 cm is cut off from each of its corner, then  Length of the box=(56-2×6) cm = (56-12) = 44 cmBreadth of the box =48-2×6= (48-12) =35 cm  And, height of the box = 6 cm  Therefore,  Volume of the box =44×35×6                    --[using volume of cuboid=l×b×h]= 9240 cm3
