A bag contains Rs 187 in the form of 1 rupee, 50 paise, 10 paise coins in the ratio 3:4:5. Find the number of each type of coins?

{(3X1) + (4X0.50) + (5X0.10)} P =187
5.50 P = 187
P= 187/5.50=34
so 1 Rs coins =3X34=102 Rs.
50 Pase coins =4X34= 136 =68 Rs.
10 ps coins= 5X34=170=17 Rs.

amount from Rs 1 coins= 3x
amount from 50 paise coins = 4x x 0.5 = 2x
amount from 10 paise coins =5x x 0.10 = 0.5x
5.5x = 187
x= 187/5.5
x= 34
No. of Rs1 coins = 34 x 3 = 102
No. of 50 paise coins = 34 x 4 = 136 
No. of 10 paise coins = 34 x 5 = 170
