2 schools A nd b want to award their selected students on the values of sincerity thruthfulness and helpfulness. The school A wants to award rs x each, rs y each, rs z each for the three respective values 3,2 and 1 students respectively with a total award money of 1600 rs. School B wants to spend rs. 2300 to award its 4, 1 and 3 students on the respective values.

x + y = 900, 3x + 2y + z = 1600, 4x + y + 3z = 2300.

Then form the matrices, find the A-1 then solve the matrices.

Well on doing that, I got x=200, y=300 and z=400, as far as i remember.... Don't know whether its right or wrong.
