If an object is moving along a straight path (say x - axis), then position (x), velocity (v) and acceleration (a) of the object are considered as time-dependent quantities. To get a vivid picture of motion of the object, x - t, v - t, a - t graphs can be plotted. Graph which represents the variation of position with respect to time is known as position-time graph. One can find average velocity and instantaneous velocity from a position -time graph. One such position-time graph for an object is shown below
(a) What is the average velocity of the object during t = 3 s to t = 6 s?
(b) What is the instantaneous velocity of the object at t = 2.43 secs
(c) Calculate the net displacement of the object between time interval t = 0 to t = 6 s
